Dr. Sarah and Joseph Garrett have a new clinic location for Fairhaven Integrative Health, where I'll be providing $30 acupuncture treatments in a small group setting.
No, that's not a typo. $30 Acupuncture.
Is this an opening special? Is it affordable because it's not as good as other acupuncture that's $100 per visit?
No and no. I've billed insurance companies $75+ for my services elsewhere, and I can give you essentially the same treatment for less than half the cost.
Why am I doing this and how does it work?
Simple. I will see up to three patients per hour at Fairhaven Integrative Health, which enables me to charge less per patient. I'm doing this because most people either can't afford acupuncture or their health insurance doesn't cover acupuncture. I'm trying to see those people.
So what's really the difference between seeing you in a group acupuncture setting and another acupuncturist?
I won't be spending a lot of time talking with you about diet, herbs, and supplements. We'll spend just enough time together talking about why you're in for your appointment, and then I'll give you your acupuncture treatment. I work with excellent Naturopaths who can talk with you more, order lab testing, or prescribe herbs or supplements.
Basically, when you see almost any acupuncturist, there will always be a certain amount of time when you're just relaxing with the acupuncture needles in you and they go do something else. All I really do differently is treat other patients while you are relaxing with the needles in you.
Come see me for the only acupuncture of its kind in Fairhaven!
